These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made by and between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“customer”, “you”) and CanCleaning.com, LLC (“CanCleaning.com”, “company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) as an authorized user of such services provided by the company and any of its subsidiaries.
These Terms and Conditions, together with any operating rules, policies, price schedules, or other supplemental documents expressly incorporated herein by reference and published from time to time by CanCleaning.com (collectively, the “Agreement”), constitutes the entire agreement between CanCleaning.com and you regarding our trash can cleaning service. By using the service, you confirm your acceptance of, and agree to be bound by, this Agreement.
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement concerning your access to and use of the CanCleaning.com website; as well as, any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”).
You agree that by accessing the Site, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set forth.
1. Service
CanCleaning.com provides a mobile trash can cleaning service for residential trash, recycling, compost and yard waste trash cans.
Customers are initially charged at the time of their sign up.
Customers who subscribe to our Monthly Membership, Quarterly Membership, Or Other Recurring Service plan will then be charged on the first calendar day of each subsequent service month.
2. Minimum Service Length Policy
All customers who sign up for a subscription-based membership plan (Monthly, Quarterly, or any other recurring service) must complete and pay for a minimum of 3 cleanings prior to the cancellation of their service
If you cancel service, reduce the number of cans to be cleaned, or switch trash cans to different ones than originally registered before completing and paying for your first 3 services
You will be charged at the rate of our current one-time cleaning price for each can that is swapped out or removed from your cleaning service.
The exact one-time cleaning charge will be the publicly available one-time cleaning rate at the time the policy is broken. Our prices are viewable at www.CanCleaning.com/Pricing
3. Trash Can Visibility
Your trash can(s) must be made available outside and be within view for the cleaning technicians. Preferably they should be placed curbside; however, if your association does not allow the can(s) to be left curbside, your trash can(s) should be placed in your driveway and be easily visible and accessible for the cleaning technician.
If the trash can(s) are not placed curbside or in your driveway and they are not clearly visible upon our arrival, the cleaning technicians are unable to knock on your door, and due to liability reasons, they are explicitly not permitted to enter closed gates on your property for the safety and security of all parties.
As a courtesy, unless you opted out, we send an email reminder and SMS the day prior to service and the morning of the scheduled appointment.
No Refund or Credit will be issued for trash can(s) not cleaned on your scheduled cleaning date due to the trash can(s) not being made available and/or visible upon our arrival.
4. Trash Found Inside Trash Can(s)
Trash Can(s) are required to be empty prior to the scheduled cleaning appointment. To ensure thorough cleaning, CanCleaning.com reserves the right to collect and handle any trash found inside the trash can(s).
If there is any waste found inside your trash can(s), It is at our technicians' sole discretion to decide if removing and replacing any trash is feasible. If so, this will be done as a one-time courtesy
Our technicians may attempt to carefully remove and return the trash to its original location after cleaning.
If our technicians are determine it is not feasible to handle the trash, they will not clean the trash cans or rebag the trash inside the trash can(s), and no refund or credit will be provided.
5. Trash Can Swapping
Swapping trash cans is not permitted.
The trash cans specified during your initial sign-up must be the only ones cleaned for the length of your service and cannot be switched out.
To add a new trash can to your membership, please contact us and we will update your membership accordingly.
6. Rescheduling
A minimum of seven (7) calendar days notification is required for rescheduling your trash can cleaning appointment.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that we can reschedule your cleaning appointment within the same month. It will solely be dependent upon our schedule and if/when we will be near your location in order to accommodate a same-month cleaning.
If same-month rescheduling is not possible, we will move you to the next possible date we can accommodate you.
Failure to notify us by phone call or email within the timeframe outlined above will result no refund or credit being issued for that cleaning.
Cleanings cannot be rescheduled in an inappropriate way. We define inappropriate rescheduling as: rescheduling that we believe is excessive, rescheduling that we believe is done in an attempt to avoid our minimum service policy, or for any other reason reserved for our sole discretion. If you would like to not have a cleaning for a specific period, you must contact us and change your plan to the most appropriate service and price we have available.
If you have not completed the minimum number of services and we have deemed your rescheduling as inappropriate we will not honor any rescheduling and will continue completing the final services you have remaining in your minimum service. After completion of this, your account will be cancelled.
7. Customer Responsibilities
In order for CanCleaning.com to provide its services to the best of their ability, the customer must abide by the aforementioned Terms & Conditions or service could be interrupted, postponed, or canceled with no refund and with the potential for additional fees which may also apply.
If a customer lives in a guard gated community or in a community with a gated entrance, CanCleaning.com must be added to the service provider/guest list, or the gate code must be provided to us in order to allow us access in order for us to provide our services without interruption.
Failure to provide a gate code or add CanCleaning.com to the provider/guest list, or inability to grant access when our technicians arrive, will result in that cleaning being skipped and no credit or refund being issued.
The customer will hold CanCleaning.com harmless and release CanCleaning.com of any damages or liability to any and all surrounding property.
If a customer invites CanCleaning.com onto the customer's property or inside the garage, then the customer is responsible for all damages and releases CanCleaning.com from any and all liability.
Trash Cans(s) must be free of all trash and animal waste. Trash Cans containing unbagged feces will not be cleaned, and no refund or credit will be provided.
Trash Can(s) must be free of chemicals, oils, any petroleum-based products, oil-based paint, glue or other adhesive, or hazardous waste of any kind. Trash Can(s) containing these substances will not be cleaned and no refund or credit will be provided.
Trash Can(s) must be free of building materials, (e.g. plaster, stucco or concrete). Trash Can(s) containing these substances will not be cleaned and no refund or credit will be provided.
When necessary, customers will allow CanCleaning.com to utilize their driveway for the cleaning process for safety reasons, and the customer releases CanCleaning.com from any and all damages that may occur.
Additionally, the customer understands that CanCleaning.com will make every effort to get all debris out of the trash can(s), but certain substances require several treatments to be completely removed. Certain substances are permanent, and some stains can not be removed.
8. Payments And Refunds
If you wish to cancel your service, you must do so before you start your next billing cycle. If you cancel after being billed a refund will not be issued for that charge and your cleaning will continue as normal for that month.
9. Cancellation Policy
As per our "Minimum Service Length" policy, all customers subscribing to any of our recurring services (Monthly, Quarterly, or any other available plans) are required to complete and pay for a minimum of 3 cleanings before being eligible to cancel their subscription.
If you have not met the required 3 months, you will have 48 hours from your attempted cancellation to either continue the service that you initially signed up for or pay our current one-time cleaning price.
If no decision is made within 48 hours, we will bill your credit card on file for the current one-time cleaning price, cancel your membership immediately, and cancel all future cleanings.
Once you have fulfilled the minimum requirement of 3 cleanings, you may cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle.
If you do not cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle, you will be scheduled for one final cleaning as normal. No refunds or credits will be issued for this final cleaning.
You can choose to skip or cancel any cleaning; however, you will forfeit any payment made for that cleaning if it is not made within 7 days prior to your scheduled cleaning.
Cleanings cannot be cancelled over and over. If you would like to not have a cleaning for specific period, you must contact us and change your plan to the most relevant option we have available.
10. Cleaning Address Changes & Moving
Customers are allowed to change the service address; however, any change from the original address will reactivate the "Minimum Service Length Policy" at the new address, requiring a minimum of 3 cleanings at the new location before changing addresses or cancelling service.
It is the customer's responsibility to promptly notify CanCleaning.com of any changes to the service address.
Failure to provide CanCleaning.com with updated address information will result in no refunds or credits for any billing periods charged to the previous address, even if no cleaning services were provided at that location.
