Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“customer”, “you”) and CanCleaning.com LLC (“CanCleaning.com”, “company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) as an authorized user of such services provided by the company and any of its subsidiaries.

These Terms and Conditions, together with any operating rules, policies, price schedules, or other supplemental documents expressly incorporated herein by reference and published from time to time by CanCleaning.com (collectively, the “Agreement”), constitutes the entire agreement between CanCleaning.com and you regarding the trash can cleaning service. By using the service, you confirm your acceptance of, and agree to be bound by, this Agreement.

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement concerning your access to and use of the http://www.CanCleaning.com website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”). You agree that by accessing the Site, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions.

1. Service

CanCleaning.com provides a mobile trash can cleaning service for residential and commercial trash, recycling and yard waste trash cans. 

Customers are initially charged on the day of sign up. 

Customers on a subscription membership plan are then charged on the 1st of each following service month.

2. Minimum Service Length
All customers who sign up for a subscription membership (Monthly Cleaning, Quarterly Cleaning, or any other recurring service) must complete and pay for at least 3 cleanings.

 
Should you cancel service, reduce the amount of cans cleaned, or switch trash cans out than different ones you signed up with before completing and paying for your first 3 services, you will be charged the current one-time trash can cleaning price as of the date of your cancellation per trash can you signed up with, swapped out, or attempted to remove or reduce.

3. Trash Can Visibility
Trash Can(s) must be placed curbside, easily visible and accessible, or as otherwise instructed by CanCleaning.com for their scheduled cleaning date.

If the trash cans are not placed outside, our technicians will not knock on your door, and they are not permitted to enter closed gates for their safety. No refund will be issued for trash can(s) not cleaned due to not being visible.

4. Trash Found Inside Trash Can(s)
To ensure thorough cleaning, CanCleaning.com reserves the right to collect and handle any trash found inside the trash can(s).

In such cases, our technicians will attempt to carefully bag the trash, clean the trash can, and return the trash to its original location.

If this is not possible or they technician uses their discretion to determine that there is too much trash, the trash can will not be cleaned.

Please be aware that a trash rebagging fee of $5 will be charged for this additional service to cover fees and labor for this process.

In some cases, technicians may not be able to clean the trash cans or rebag the trash inside the trash cans and no refund or credit will be given.

5. Trash Can Swapping
Please note that swapping trash cans is not permitted.

The same trash cans specified during your initial sign-up will be cleaned on a recurring basis.

To add a new trash can to your membership, simply contact us via phone or email and we will update your membership accordingly.

6. Rescheduling
It is essential for customers to notify CanCleaning.com 14 days before their scheduled cleaning if they need to reschedule.
Failure to do so will result in your cleaning being skipped and no refund will be issued for that cleaning.

A $19 rescheduling fee may be applied if a customer does not notify CanCleaning.com with 14 days notice.

7. Trash Can Visibility
Trash Cans must be clearly visible at placed at the curb. In cases where trash cans are inaccessible or are not at the curb, our technicians will skip the cleaning as they need to proceed with other appointments.

As a courtesy, we send an email reminder & text message the day prior to service and the morning of the scheduled appointment.

If a technician has skipped your cleaning due to the trash cans not being visible, no refund or credit will be issued for that cleaning.

8. Customer Responsibilities
In order for CanCleaning.com to provide its services, the customer must abide by the following conditions, or service could be interrupted or postponed, or canceled with no refund and fees may also apply.


Trash Can(s) must be empty and available by the curb or alley. If a customer lives in a gated community or property, the code must be provided and the customer will hold CanCleaning.com harmless and release CanCleaning.com of any damages or liability to any and all surrounding property. 


If a customer invites CanCleaning.com onto the customer's property or inside the garage, then the customer is responsible for all damages and releases CanCleaning.com from all liability.


Trash Cans(s) must be free of all trash and animal waste. Trash Cans containing unbagged feces will not be cleaned and no refund will be provided.


Trash Can(s) must be free of chemicals, oils, any petroleum-based products, oil-based paint, glue or other adhesive, or hazardous waste of any kind. Trash Can(s) containing these substances will not be cleaned and no refund will be provided.


Trash Can(s) must be free of building materials, e.g. plaster, stucco or concrete. Trash Can(s) containing these substances will not be cleaned and no refund will be provided.


Additionally, the customer understands that CanCleaning.com will make every effort to get all debris out of the bins, but certain substances require several treatments to be completely removed. Certain substances are permanent, and some stains can not be removed.


Customers will allow CanCleaning.com to utilize their driveway for the cleaning process when necessary for safety reasons.

CanCleaning.com will refuse to work on certain roads that present a danger to employees or assets.

The customer’s driveway may be utilized in certain circumstances, and the customer releases CanCleaning.com from any and all damages.

9. Payments And Refunds
The initial payment for all services is taken on the day you sign up. If you have signed up for a recurring trash can cleaning membership (Monthly Cleaning, Quarterly Cleaning, or any other recurring service) your following payments will be charged on the 1st of each service month.

If you wish to cancel your service do so before you get charged on the 1st of your next service month. If you cancel after being billed on the 1st a refund will not be issued for that charge and your cleaning will continue as normal for that month.
